" Busteed and Son carried out a conversion for us during June 2011. The conversion entailed installing a new stair well accessing an office area, bedroom and ensuite.
I was informed of the Busteeds from a friend who had their attic converted the year previous. Having viewed their work I was keen to get a price from the Busteeds as it was everything I was looking for, professional, neat, a good finish and structurally sound.
Having viewed and measured, Busteed and son issued a very detailed plan and quotation breaking down the full content of the project and how it would progress to completion. The quotation was very realistic in the current climate and the quote professional giving me further confidence. A start date and a finish date were given and both were honoured.
When on site I found Busteed and son to be very neat, professional and thorough. Progress was kept to the original plan but they obliged with any alteration without resistance and assisted in every way possible to satisfy our requirements.

They came to the house before the scheduled date to discuss their plans and any other requirements which we may have had.
We found them at all time to be helpful and easy to interact with.
While on the job they minimised the level of intrusion in our everyday lives. They kept their work areas neat and tidy and at the end of each day they cleaned up any mess that was created.
Given the tight area in which they worked we found that they were very conscious of not damaging any areas which were already decorated.

" We recently employed Busteed & Son Attic Conversions to convert the attic in our home to 2 rooms and a toilet.
When we requested that they call to us to do a survey and give a quotation, we found that they did so when promised. They listened to us and advised us of what would be best to meet our requirements.
The quotation was very professional written up and included every detail of the work to be done.
When we arranged a date to commence the work, Busteed & Son arrived on that date and completed the work within the timeframe promised.
We found all the workers to be very friendly and cooperative. The work caused us a minimum of inconvenience. All working areas were covered with sheeting and every evening before going home everything was cleared away and floors vacuumed.

" It is with much enthusiasm that I am writing to recommend the services of Busteed and Son Attic Conversions. We used Willie to upgrade our attic to an office/movie room. We are completely satisfied with the outcome. They did an excellent job, were always punctual, and left the house spotless each day after they completed their work. We had a small baby in the house during the build and the lads made every effort not to disturb her.
We asked them for some specific work to be done regarding power outlets and soundproofing which they completed to an exceptionally high standard. We are overjoyed with the results. We can now watch movies on our sound system at a high volume without disturbing anybody else in the house or our neighbours.
They were reasonably priced for the quality of the work carried out and the materials used. They used only the highest quality materials to create the highest quality conversion which will be crucial if we decide to sell in the future.
They were very communicative. I was away on business for much of the build but I was kept informed of their progress throughout.
An anecdote that may impress on you the quality of their work and character. Some of the taps in my home were not flowing very freely. Willies plumber noticed this as he was washing his hands and went ahead and fixed the taps in the house free of charge. I did not ask him to do this and in fact he didn't even mention it to me afterwards. I only noticed it myself as he was leaving for the day.
The build has been completed for a number of months now and having used to room on a daily basis since then my appreciation for the quality of work has only increased. As a result I am very happy to recommend the services of Busteed and Son Attic Conversions. "

Recently my wife and I employed Mr. Willie Busteed and his team to convert our attic space into a bedroom and en suite. We were highly impressed with the work endeavoured by Willie right from the beginning of this sizeable project. " From the first time I spoke to Willie Busteed on the phone re converting my attic, it struck me immediately how courteous and pleasant he was. (Although I rang not knowing he was on his holidays he did not appear to be discommoded in any respect and remained very professional.) Later, following our initial consultation, he did not disappoint and by the time he had left our house we had already decided that this was the man for the job, before we even got another quotation. We were impressed throughout the entire job from start to finish. The quotation was very competitive and all the building products were of a very high standard, as was the labour. The job was conducted in a very organised and efficient manner. This company are professionals. Willie has an excellent rapport with people. He discussed in detail and explained fully every aspect of the conversion with us and was very patient with all our requests and responded to all our individual requirements.
